Terms of Booking
Deposits:
A 20% deposit of the booked Kaupoi Adventures is required to confirm your package. The final balance of the package is payable at arrival or prior to arriving. Please advise by email when payments have been made.
Money can be deposited in to the following account
02-1246-0402346-001 - Please use your name as a reference
Cancellations:
With adequate notice, deposits can be credited to a future Packages at another date, refunds on deposit will not be given. Our policy is:

Clients must pay a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure booking and stores required before client's arrival.
Full payment must be made on arrival or prior to arriving at Kaupoi Adventures. -
If 1 months notice is given, that full deposit can be used to secure a future package with Kaupoi Adveventures.

Anything less than a month, no deposit towards any future package will be given.
Transfer:
With adequate notice, written consent and agreement between Kaupoi Adventures and the client, deposit and package arrangements can be transferred or credited to another client or third party. There will be no change to the terms and conditions on transfer, unless agreed by both the client and Kaupoi Adventures.
Pricing:
The Kaupoi Adventures booking pricing structure consists 3 parts:

Base Rate: This is for a max of 4 per group booking, which covers food, accommodation, travel to and from Gisborne and around the various land blocks and coastal activity areas, Ammunition, Gun hire (if needed) and land hire.

Day Rate: For clients this is per day which is our services for guided and all animals secured that day, supervision of clients during all activities.

Non-hunters/observers: These will be charged at separate rates.
Exclusions:
- Unless specified the following items are not included in Base Rate or Daily rate:
Items of Personal nature, insurance, animal processing, shipping and freight of animals, international/domestic travel.
Travel Arrangements:
- The client is responsible for all travel arrangements to and from the Gisborne port of arrival & departure. In most instances this will be the Gisborne Airport. Kaupoi Adventures shall not be held responsible for any delays or cancellations of the Packages or any part thereof.
Medical:
Due to the nature of the activities undertaken, the client shall take medical advice and appropriate precautions prior to the commencement of the package and the client shall be responsible for ensuring their physical and medical fitness. If clients have medical issues or conditions clients must advise Kaupoi staff immediately to ensure the package suits the specific client's needs.
Kaupoi Staff:
Kaupoi Adventures employees will take all reasonable steps to assist the client in the hunting and shooting of all animals during the package, but due to the nature of New Zealand conditions Kaupoi Adventures cannot and does not guarantee that the client will successfully hunt, harvest or obtain an animal. Kaupoi Adventures will make every effort to adhere to hunting and shooting schedules arrange during the specified package times, but it reserves the right to alter the schedules due to change in weather conditions, safety factors, animal migrations or other changing factors.
Participation:
Clients are responsible for making enquiries as to Kaupoi Adventures packages being suitable for their level of fitness. Should a client require an early departure/evacuation then the cost incurred will be the responsibility of the client. There will be no adjustment of the package fees.
Clients are reminded that if they are using their own firearms, then by law they must travel with their firearm licence and firearms ownership. At the start of each hunting trip Kaupoi Adventures will provide clients with a safety operations briefing.
